Employee Benefits & Communications company (EBC), founded by Walter Sprang who first started in the voluntary worksite in 1993, provides voluntary benefits consulting, enrollment solutions, and ongoing service and administration for over 280 clients ranging in size from 5 to 7500 employees nationwide in over 30 states. Focusing on integrity, ethics, and building strong broker and client relationships has lead to consistent and steady growth in the marketplace ensuring the longevity of our company for many years to come.

Based in the San Antonio, Texas area, EBC utilizes a dedicated and centralized enrollment team that works exclusively for the firm, maintaining complete control of the enrollment process. Through years of experience EBC has learned the true advantage of professional trained benefit counselors who communicate and enroll worksite benefits. Our team brings experience and adaptability to the many facets of the enrollment process, handling in stride the many personalities an enrollment can take on. Due to internal structuring, we have virtually eliminated all issues of overselling clients with a stabilized team. Truly, our enrollment team makes EBC the company it strives to be!

Utilizing a background in technology, EBC’s back office operation takes advantage of the most advanced processes available to ensure secure, efficient, and streamlined workflow for case implementation and service. Since inception, EBC has employed paperless technology for greater dissemination of information internally among our workforce, providing efficiency and access to proper information. Most recently VOIP now allows workforce accessibility regardless of geographic location providing seamless convenience for employer groups and policyholders who need assistance.
